The Full Body Service Body
The Full Body service body is CSM’s Flagship product. A versatile, practical, and functional vehicular storage solution, the Full Body is an all-round top-performer when it comes to keeping your tools and equipment secure and protected.
The base Full Body canopy can be upgraded with our extensive range of external and vehicle accessories. And with a wide variety of internal customisation options, the Full Body canopy can be customised to suit your specific needs.
But first, let’s talk about what makes the Full Body different from other service bodies.
The Full Body isn’t CSM’s top-selling service body for no reason. Not only is it top-quality, functional, and secure, the Full Body canopy is the perfect base design for creating a storage solution that is specific to your needs.
Why? Well, let’s start with the basics:
The Features of the Full Body Service Body
The Full Body is a fully enclosed canopy that suits almost any make, model, or style of ute you can think of.
The basic version of the Full Body is fitted with side gullwing doors, which like all of our service body doors, are recessed and flush with canopy sides. This not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the canopy but also provides little to no leverage against the door, making them resistant to forced entry. And with secure 2-point latching, you can have peace of mind that your tools and equipment is protected.
And then there’s the functionality of your service body. Although this largely depends on how you kit your canopy out with internal and external accessories, the basic design still has multiple features that are designed to help you access your gear. First, all our doors are designed to be easy to open and lift, with strategically placed gas struts doing the heavy lifting for you. Next, once the door is open, you will notice that we have made the opening as large as possible, meaning you have a great degree of freedom with increased accessible workspace. Finally, all CSM service bodies have flush floors; that is the floor of the service body is flush with the sill of the door. This means that rather than having to lift heavy or bulky items over the sill of your canopy door opening, you can easily slide your equipment out.
Service Body Accessories and Customisations
Then, of course, we come to the accessories and the customisation of your service body to suit your needs and requirements. We won’t go over everything here, because, frankly, there is just too much. However, we will give you a brief overview of what you can change and add to your canopy.
First of all, we have the customisations that apply directly to the canopy. This covers different door types and the addition of windows. We have a few different styles of doors that may be better suited to your needs, as well as the addition of a rear door. And then we can add windows to your canopy, increasing visibility, as well as window mesh to improve security.
Next, we have external canopy accessories, this includes extra storage options in the form of underbody boxes and drawers, which can be used for the storage of items that need to be accessed quickly and easily. We also have a range of roof accessories from roof racks, to light beacons and bars. And then we have a variety of other external accessories, including access steps, grab handles, work lights, and much more.
Finally, we have the internal accessories. With our wide range, you can customise the interior of your service body to create a storage space that is the best solution for you. Create a custom internal fitout with a range of shelving units, drawer units, and cabinets. Add specialised equipment with fridge slides, vented cabinets, handiwash units, and more.
On top of all this, CSM also provides a range of vehicle accessories as part of our one-stop-shop solution. From bullbars, driving lights, and communications equipment, to vehicle upgrades, dual battery systems and more, we can help you create a work vehicle that is the best fit for your needs and requirements.
Service Body Construction and Design
The service bodies we make here at CSM are not just great because they can be customised to suit your needs, but also because of the way they are designed and built.
First of all, all CSM service bodies are designed and built here in Australia, making our service bodies proudly Australian-made by a proudly Australian-owned company.
Next, we have the design of the canopy. With an experienced onsite design team at our manufacturing facility, we are constantly updating and improving our service bodies, so that we can give you the peace of mind knowing that your service body is tough, hard-wearing, and well-designed. The design of the canopy is a delicate balance between maintaining aesthetic appeal, providing functionality by the way of ease-of-use, and ensuring the canopy is not only rugged but also secure.
This is also where the construction of our service body comes in. CSM service bodies are manufactured from aluminium, with out unique canopy design ensuring they are lightweight without sacrificing strength or durability. Our manufacturing plant looks after the entire process from when the aluminium sheets come in, to where the finished body goes out, with multiple checks in place throughout the entire production line ensuring is maintained. From our manufacuting plant, the service bodies are sent to our fitting facility in Brisbane, Queensland, or to one of multiple CSM Service Body dealers around Australia.
